Diamonds to daredevils: BIPOC, LGBTQ+, Jewish and women’s history

The tour was entertaining, inspiring and serious at the same time. Highly recommended for both locals and visitors interested in feminist, BIPOC and/or LGBTQ+ history.

Something we can’t wait to share:

Why does this quiet street have a building that looks like a castle? Is that a diamond built into the tower? And how did the people who built this building raise the standard of living across the country while making a huge dent in religious and gender discrimination?

The roughly two-hour walk starts at the National Opera & Ballet and ends in front of the H’ART Museum (formerly the Hermitage Museum).

Wear good walking shoes and dress for the weather.
