One thing that makes Amsterdam special is the way it has a thousand different cities layered on top of each other in a relatively small area. On this tour, we explore some of these facets throughout the city’s lifetime. We also explore how some of its stories are written, rewritten, and adapted through every age and by different tellers.
By discovering many of Amsterdam’s hidden gems, you’ll get a sense of what makes the city and its people so unique. See a different side of Amsterdam’s history while exploring two wildly contrasting neighborhoods.
If a customized tour isn’t the right fit, we also offer private tours with set themes, or you can opt for a group tour. Group tours are not private and also not customized. They allow individuals or smaller parties to join a larger tour at a set time. Whether you’re looking for a private deep dive or a shared storytelling experience, we have an option that suits your needs!
Our private tours accommodate 1–15 people and range from 1–4 hours. For larger groups or extended tours beyond 4 hours, we’re happy to make arrangements—just reach out to discuss your specific request! (Due to Amsterdam’s regulations, walking tours larger than 15 need to be split among different guides.)
