When you sign up for and partake in a Badass Tours activity, you agree to the following terms and conditions. You also agree to these terms and conditions on behalf of anyone you’re booking tickets for. We encourage you to share this page with them so they can read and understand the terms and conditions as well.

If you feel uncomfortable with any of these terms and conditions, we ask that you not partake in the activity.
Cancellations
We aim to ensure that all activities proceed as originally scheduled; however, in some instances, we may need to cancel or reschedule the activity, such as guide incapacity or a national weather emergency. In such instances, we will first try to rebook you onto another tour. Barring that, we will refund your purchase to the extent possible. For example, some booking platform fees are beyond our control.
For most of our activities (currently: Hidden Gems Tour, Jewish History Tour, LGBTQ+ History Tour, Shifting the Frame, and Women’s History Tour), guests may cancel bookings up to 48 hours prior to the tour start time for a full refund. Bookings canceled within 48 hours of the tour start time are non-refundable.
Regarding the our Customized Private Tour, guests may cancel bookings up to 48 hours prior to the tour start time for a refund minus the non-refundable €100,00 deposit. Bookings canceled within 48 hours of the tour start time are non-refundable.
For all tours, no-shows will not be refunded.
Regarding our Badass Amsterdam DIY Tour, bookings are non-refundable. If you can no longer make use of this booking, you can forward it to someone else to use on your behalf.
Liability
Our team will indicate general safety measures (such as checking for oncoming traffic when crossing intersections), but you are ultimately responsible to ensure your own health and safety. We are not responsible for any damages or losses incurred as result of acts by entities beyond our control, including but not limited to restaurants, shops, museums, boating companies, market stalls, eateries, and food carts. We are not responsible for acts beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God, act of nature, acts of war, or other unrest caused by state or non-state actors.
You are aware of and responsible for all damages or losses that may arise during the course of the tour resulting from: physical accidents during the tour or at any of the locations visited; transportation failures; forces of nature; criminal activity; damage, loss or misplaced property; or accident or illness without means of rapid evacuation or availability of medical supplies or services.
You agree to be responsible for your own welfare and property and accept any and all risks of delay, unanticipated events, inconvenience, illness, injury, emotional trauma, or death.
If you are disturbing the tour or behaving in a disrespectful manner, we have the right to ask you to leave the tour without refunding you or providing you with a credit for your tour.
Name and Likeness
By participating in a Badass Tours activity, you grant us the right to film, photograph, and record you in connection with that activity and to use that material to promote our activities and/or Badass Tours as a whole.
Should you not want us to use any images or recordings of you, you will let us know at the start of the activity, and together, we will ensure that you are not part of the images or recordings.
Acceptance and Acknowledgement
You acknowledge that taking part in a Badass Tours activity is equivalent to your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
By accepting these terms and conditions, you release and discharge forever Badass Tours, its employees, owners, affiliates, officers, directors, successors, agents, and assigns, from and against any liability arising from participating in this activity. You further agree that this document shall be legally binding upon you personally, all members of your family, all minors traveling with you, your heirs, successors, assigns, and legal representatives, to the maximum extent of the law.
You agree that any claims that may arise will first go to arbitration and only if not resolved in that manner shall be heard in Dutch court. In both cases, grievances shall be heard in the jurisdiction of the Dutch Court.
